Trillian is a fully featured, multiprotocol instant messaging tool for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux that is able to connect to multiple instant messaging services without the need of running multiple clients.
The program provides capabilities not possible with original network clients, while supporting standard features such as audio chat, file transfers, group chats, chat rooms, buddy icons, multiple simultaneous connections to the same network, server-side contact importing, typing notification, direct connection (AIM), proxy support, encrypted messaging (AIM/ICQ), SMS support, and privacy settings.
Supported services: Facebook, Yahoo!, MySpace, AIM, Email, LinkedIn, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber/XMPP, IRC, and Bonjour. Trillian no longer supports Windows Live Messenger or Skype as these services have combined and Microsoft chose to discontinue Skypekit.
