AIMP is a free, lightweight and powerful audio player for Windows and Android, that allows you to listen to your favorite music with outstanding sound quality. It’s a great alternative to the popular music player "Winamp", that has been discontinued. The program was originally developed by Russian developer Artem Izmaylov (and that’s why it’s called “AIMP”: Artem Izmaylov Media Player) and was first released in 2006.
AIMP works with multiple playlists immediately and can be customized with skins. It also includes great features such as a 18-band equalizer, a visualization window to display rhythmic visual effects, playlist editor to organize your audio files and built-in sound effects (Reverb, Flanger, Chorus, Pitch, Tempo, Echo, Speed, Bass, Enhancer, Voice Remover).
