O&O FileDirect is a free and simple sync and file sharing app from O&O that allows you to share unlimited files cloudless (without uploading them in the cloud) and with no need of intermediate storage – means you don’t have to rely on cloud storage/sharing services such as Dropbox, or Google Drive to securely share files with your contacts.

To share your files, simply drag-n-drop your file or folder to the FileDirect interface. The program will generate a unique individual link that you can send to your contacts (unlimited recipients allowed). O&O FileDirect acts as a mini server and the special link will direct users to your device with a point to point connection. This way, your confidential files stay on your device and never get out of your hand.

Furthermore, you have full control of your shared data: you can password-protect your link, restrict its validity duration and determine how many downloads are allowed. The recipient doesn't need to install O&O FileDirect in order to download the file. He can simply open the link in a supported browser and download it to his device.

Supported Browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Vivaldi and Opera. (Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are not currently supported.) Firefox browser restricts the maximum size of downloaded files. The global limit is calculated as 50% of free disk space.
