Icecream Screen Recorder is easy to use screen recording tool that enables you to capture/record any on-screen activity either as a screenshot or a video file. It offers a complete suite of tools and options for professional screen capture, which you can use to create video tutorials, record both audio and microphone, capture webcam, Skype videos in HD, record games or streaming videos, schedule screen recording, take screenshots of a full screen or a certain section and more.

Icecream Screen Recorder offers many powerful features. It allows users to capture streaming video, desktop, gaming sessions, and any other on-screen activities and save the output files in WebM, MP4 and MKV formats. The program lets to pause, resume and stop the process at any time, draw on screen, select the desired resolution of the videos. It also offers a number of useful configuration options.

Users can select from 5 available recording modes: Custom (custom recording area), Fullscreen, Last area (previously selected recording area), Area auto-detection (program automatically detects and selects the recording area) and Around mouse (recording area of a selected size will be moved with the mouse). The addition of a web camera window is supported by the program. The webcam window’s size can be customized in size and moved within the selected recording area.

The program supports zooming in and out while screen recording (except for the “Around mouse” recording mode. Zooming levels up to x16 are available. This screen recording software supports saving the videos in MP4, MKV and WebM formats. Screenshots can be saved as JPG and PNG files, saved to clipboard or uploaded by URL to Icecream Apps server (users receive a shortlink to their screenshots).
